Come Fly with Me
Please join us for Erie DAWN’s 5th Annual Art Auction, Come Fly with Me. on Thursday, May 2 from 5 – 7:30 p.m. at the Erie Art Museum. Tickets are $20/person and on sale at the Erie Art Museum or by calling 814-453-5921.
The name Come Fly with Me represents Erie DAWN’s mission to create safe and nurturing environments where families can thrive, much like birds do in the spring when they build nests for their young.
The highlight of the event is a silent auction comprised of more than 35 birdhouse-themed art designs created by local artists. Participating artists include: David Bennet, Jane Campbell, Heather Cash, Alice DeGeorge, Eileen Engel, Evan Everhart, Tom Hubert, Melissa Gustafson, Cheryl Johnson, Robyn Ries Kermode, Carl Larese, Janel Potratz Levin, Gary Maas, Matta D, Sue McAllister, Brian Pardini, Jennifer & Terri Reed, Kat Ritenour, Robin Scheppner, David Seitzinger, Deb Sementelli, Mary Jane Toddy, Carolyn Washe, Rob Washe, Stanley Weidner, Gretchen Wheeler, and Cheryl Zalik. More to follow! We are thrilled to be able to showcase these designs in our venue, the Erie Art Museum!
The sale of these one-of-a-kind creations provide much needed revenue to facilitate Erie DAWN’s programs of rent assistance, financial guidance and advocacy for Erie’s homeless women and their children. The birdhouses will be sold by silent and live auction.
Delicious appetizers by Make it Fabulous and live music by K.T. and the Sunshine Man round out what’s sure to be an amazing evening!
